Lorena Germán is an ELA teacher, teacher-leader, curriculum designer, author, and speaker. She is an advocate for culturally sustaining pedagogy anti-racist education. She is the chair of the National Council of English Teacher’s Committee Against Racism and Bias in the Teaching of English and she is the founder of “The Multicultural Classroom.” Finally, she is the co-founder of #DisruptTexts and the Director of Pedagogy at EduColor
